So they called on us to help them get student-specific Gen Z insights to show brands why Quizlet is the right place to advertise to Gen Z.
The brief
Quizlet is one of Gen Z’s most used and most trusted resources in school. With 60M monthly active users, Quizlet was looking for custom Gen Z research and insights to support their launch of Quizlet Ads around key industry verticals. Quizlet asked dcdx to provide insightful research and strategy to equip their team with the resources necessary to launch a successful ads platform.
The methodology
dcdx performed primary research through The Loop, our network of 75,000+ Gen Z’ers. This research was then analyzed and compiled in an industry-specific deck, alongside constant collaboration with Quizlet’s key stakeholders.
The impact
Our work supporting the launch of Quizlet Ads drove 25% of new business for the brand, in addition to landing Quizlet Ads a Highly Commendable award by the Drum Awards.
In addition to providing Quizlet with research on key verticals, dcdx was also included in a Business Insider article around the launch of the platform, as a key strategic thought leader on Gen Z which helped to provide additional credibility and recognition around the importance of the platform for advertisers.
