How Arby's Went Viral on TikTok by Engaging User Generated Content

WE HAVE THE MEATS.

But do you have your TV though?

In the past month, Arby’s gained over 150,000 followers on TikTok (compared to an average of ~5,000/month).

And it all started with @h1t1’s video on October 22nd. Take a look for yourself…

It prompted a series of posts from both @Arbys and @h1t1 and now is one of the most entertaining stories on TikTok…well at least we think it is.

What else happened?

Ok so here’s the full, full story. @h1t1 thought he was getting a TV for $25 and got an Arby’s menu instead. Then someone got broken up with because she got her boyfriend’s order wrong because…well…half the menu was missing. He made a TikTok about it, and so did his brother. Some worker at Arby’s made a TikTok about the entire breakup because he witnessed all of it happening. Another worker had $25 taken out of his paycheck because someone stole the Arby’s menu. And finally, some poor guy had to install an Arb'’s menu on his day off. Is it enjoyable to be on Arby’s Menu TikTok? Yes, yes it is. Here’s a video recapping all of it.

But it does not stop there. A TON of people are making similar videos now, all using the sound from @h1t1. Someone sold you a Lexus for $500? It has the Arby’s menu stuck in the display. Wii at Goodwill for $15? Arby’s menu on Wii.

Why does this matter?

In the last few weeks Arby’s has crushed social media. 150,000+ followers gained since October 22nd, and a TON of attention. GenZ Score 📈📈 Respect for Arby’s: 📈📈

And most importantly, it’s making a difference for Arby’s and their bottom line. Check out the interest from Gen Zers.

Arby’s. We have the meats. And no TV. Not yet at least.
